Indian rock is a music genre that combines elements of Bollywood music with rock music. In our Indian music industry, the rock music scenario has started from around the mid - 60s the early 70s. In the early 70s, few groups were formed which were then termed as the Beat groups, who composed and played both early British Invasion influenced songs and post - Sgt pepper hard rock. These bands started playing regularly at Universities and colleges, music festivals, and some had successful EP and LP releases. And you will be very surprised to know that a very renowned female R&B vocalist got recognition during that period for her fresh and distinctive style of singing and she has also successfully covered few western rock songs. From there, few bands also started covering some famous rock songs and this continued 1980s, afterwards, this pattern changed, and composing original songs became more common. Like other musicians at the time, Indian musicians also began fusing rock with traditional music, mostly songs that are produced for popular song Bollywood movies, that’s how fusion came into the scene in terms of rock music.
As a Bollywood Fusion Rock band, we also represent a music genre in which we fuse Bollywood music with rock music and often with traditional music, folk, Sufi, and rap. Our vision was to create and perform music that represents our musical style as well as a powerful combination that is very unique, power-packed, and satisfying to your ears and heart. Our goal is not just to create music but also to connect to people through our music.
